“PEANUTS Tamagotchi” released to celebrate Snoopy’s 75th anniversary

Bandai has announced the release of a new Tamagotchi based on the renowned cartoon series “PEANUTS”, which is known worldwide due to the popularity of its iconic beagle character Snoopy.
The release of the “PEANUTS Tamagotchi” will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the “PEANUTS” comic strip, created by Charles M. Schulz.

Set to be available in July, the “Peanuts Tamagotchi” takes the classic Tamagotchi nano format and infuses it with the charm and characters of Snoopy and his friends.
In this digital pet experience, users will have the opportunity to care for iconic “PEANUTS” characters such as Snoopy, Woodstock, and even Harriet.

Just like the original Tamagotchi, the way you nurture your digital companion will determine which character it ultimately grows into.
Beyond the core care-taking gameplay, the “Peanuts Tamagotchi” will also feature three unique mini-games inspired by the world of Charlie Brown and his gang.
Additionally, players can look forward to special events where Charlie Brown and other familiar “PEANUTS” characters will visit their virtual pet.

In a finishing touch that will be appreciated by fans of the series, the “Peanuts Tamagotchi” will come bundled with an exclusive Snoopy’s doghouse-shaped silicone case, perfect for storing and protecting the Tamagotchi nano device.

This release is sure to appeal to both long-time “PEANUTS” fans celebrating the milestone anniversary and collectors of Tamagotchi alike, with stock expected to sell out quickly upon release in July.

The “PEANUTS Tamagotchi” is due to be released on July 12th, 2025, and has a recommended retail price of 4,400 yen.
