Tokyo Tower to be enveloped in cherry blossom light show this spring

NAKED, INC. will produce and direct a new projection mapping show at Tokyo Tower this Spring.

NAKED has consistently created unique night-time experiences on the Tokyo Tower Main Deck, staging various Tokyo night view and projection mapping shows tailored to different seasons and themes since 2014.

Their projection mapping shows have also toured across Japan under the “NAKED CITY LIGHT FANTASIA” brand, being held at towers and observation decks such as Abeno Harukas and Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, with each display taking advantage of the unique characteristics of each venue.

Other events being held by the company this spring will see landmarks and attractions such as Kyoto’s Niji-jo Castle and Tokyo’s Mawell Park Aquarium lit up, both with a cherry blossom theme.

For their third event of the year, they will present a spectacular new projection mapping show at Tokyo Tower entitled “Spring Concerto”, which will feature a visual symphony of animals and plants.

Visitors will be able to witness the harmonious blend of the night view visible from the north side of the second floor of Tokyo Tower’s main deck alongside the stunning projections.

The mapping show commences with a scene depicting the arrival of spring’s bright light, dispelling Tokyo’s long, dark winter and awakening the dormant animals and plants.

As the forest comes to life, celebrating the arrival of spring, the cherry blossoms begin to blossom against the backdrop of the glittering night view.

The show culminates in a breath-taking display of fully bloomed cherry blossoms, seamlessly merging with the panoramic Tokyo night view.

This year, a new feature, “Sakura Photo Time”, will be introduced, allowing visitors to capture photographs of the Tokyo night view bathed in the pink hues of cherry blossoms, further enhancing the immersive spring atmosphere.

“TOKYO TOWER CITY LIGHT FANTASIA – Spring Concerto 2025-” will take place on the 150-meter-tall Tokyo Tower Main Deck (2nd floor north side) from March 1st 2025 to May 6th 2025.

A ticket to the Tokyo Tower Main Deck is required, with prices ranging from 600 yen for children to 1,500 yen for adults. No separate ticket is required to view the projections.

The projections will be held daily during the event period, from the following times:

• March 1^st – March 23^rd: 18:00 – 22:50
• March 24^th – April 25^th: 18:30 – 22:50
• April 26^th – May 6^th: 18:45 – 22:50
