110 years of Tokyo Station marked with BE@RBRICK collab
Tokyo Station turns 110 years old in December and to celebrate this huge anniversary, JR East has collaborated with Medicom Toy on a special edition of their popular BE@RBRICK figures.
BE@RBRICK are globally recognised “art toys” and frequently run collaborations, such as their recent team up with VTuber group “Hololive”.
The new BE@RBRICK figures will feature artwork of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Building as it appears when lit up at night.
A limited edition run of only 1,500 sets has been produced, with each set featuring one 100% BE@RBRICK figure and one 400% BE@RBRICK figure.
They will be available to purchase exclusively at TRAINIART JRE MALL stores in Tokyo and Saitama from 12:00 noon on November 1st 2024.
The first Tokyo Station and BE@RBRICK collaboration was in 2014 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the station and this current limited edition set of figures is the fourth collaboration between BE@RBRICK and Tokyo Station.
Each BE@RBRICK has an illustration of Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building at night on the front with the words “Since 1914” on the rear.
The body of each figure features glitter and a colored gradation intended to depict lights illuminating the night sky.
The limited edition sets are priced at 18,700 yen (tax included) and can be purchased from the following TRAINIART JRE MALL stores:
