Starbucks Japan to open hotel-themed store in Shibuya

Fans will be able to get early access to Starbucks Japan’s latest drink at a new pop-up store in Shibuya.
The new hotel-themed store will promote a new drink, ‘THE Strawberry Frappuccino’, which is part of Starbucks 2025 summer season menu, based on the theme of “HOTEL STARBUCKS”.
The “HOTEL STARBUCKS” theme aims to offer customers a sense of luxurious escapism akin to a stay in a special hotel amidst busy schedules and the approaching summer heat.

The special pop-up store will be named “Starbucks Coffee HOTEL THE ICHIGO” and will operate in the Shibuya district of Tokyo for a limited duration of just four days.
The store will be open from Friday April 4th to Monday April 7th, located in Miyashita Park close to Shibuya Station and the iconic Shibuya Scramble crossing.

This pop-up store aims to immerse visitors in the world of “HOTEL STARBUCKS” prior to the official nationwide launch of the summer season menu on Wednesday, April 9th 2025.
The concept of “Starbucks Coffee HOTEL THE ICHIGO” is designed to evoke the atmosphere of visiting a hotel, offering patrons a unique and exclusive setting in which to sample Starbucks’ new strawberry flavoured drink.

This early access event allows customers to enjoy a “strawberry experience that goes beyond strawberries” and try ‘THE Strawberry Frappuccino’ ahead of its general release.
Following the launch of the summer menu on April 9th, Starbucks Coffee Japan will launch a dedicated “HOTEL STARBUCKS” website.

This online platform is designed to allow customers to delve deeper into the sophisticated ambiance of “HOTEL STARBUCKS”, creating a virtual experience akin to stepping into a hotel lobby.
Starbucks have also hinted that a “secret recipe” will be hidden on the upcoming “HOTEL STARBUCKS” website.
