Red Bull F1 Showrun returns to Tokyo ahead of Japanese Grand Prix

After a six-year hiatus, Red Bull Racing is set to return to the streets of Tokyo with a thrilling F1 car demonstration – the Red Bull F1 Showrun.

This highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place ahead of the upcoming F1 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit (April 4th-6th, 2025) and will provide the public with a unique opportunity to experience the power and excitement of Formula 1 racing firsthand.

The last Red Bull Showrun in Tokyo, held at Icho Namiki-dori in the outer gardens of Meiji Jingu Shrine, took place in 2019.

This event showcased the pinnacle of Japanese automotive technology, with Honda providing the power unit for the Red Bull F1 car.

Since then, the Red Bull Racing and Honda partnership has achieved remarkable success, culminating in four Drivers’ Championships (all with Max Verstappen) and two Constructors’ Championships.

The 2025 Showrun, taking place on the 2nd of April, will offer spectators an unparalleled opportunity to witness the speed and dynamism of an F1 car as it navigates the urban landscape.

Fans can expect to see top drivers, including Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda, demonstrate the incredible power and precision of the championship winning Red Bull Racing Honda RB16B:

There will also be a chance (weather permitting) to see the Honda RA272, the first Japanese car to win in Formula One at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix:
