New figure of Street Fighter 6’s Ryu to be released by SEGA

SEGA has announced the upcoming release of a new figure based on Street Fighter 6’s Ryu.
The “Street Fighter 6 Chokonose Premium Figure ‘Ryu'” is a prize figure that will be available from arcades across Japan in late May.
This new collectible brings the iconic Ryu, the martial artist from Capcom’s popular fighting game “Street Fighter 6” who relentlessly pursues true strength through training, to life in Sega’s adorable “Chokonose” (“perching”) figure style.

The “Chokonose” or “perching” figure series is known for featuring popular characters in charming seated poses.
This figure line is often likened to the “Noodle Stopper” range produced by rival figure manufacturer FuRyu, as the figures can be used in a similar style to keep cup noodle lids in place as they cook.

The figure meticulously recreates Ryu in a powerful seated stance, arms crossed in contemplation.

Attention to detail is evident in the sculpted musculature and the realistic texture of his fighting attire.

The new Ryu “perching” figure will stand at approximately 80mm tall and 140mm wide.
Fans of Street Fighter can try their luck at winning the new figure in arcades and game centers across Japan from the 23rd of May (availability may vary).
International fans who want to get hold of this figure may be able to acquire it from local hobby goods retailers later this year, as SEGA often releases arcade prizes through standard retailers at a later date.
