"JoJo's Bizarre Collaboration" sees popular anime team up with razor brand

In one of the strangest collaborations so far this year, the popular series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki has teamed up with grooming tool manufacturer AUGER to release themed razors.

Based on the fourth installation in the series, “Golden Wind”, the collaboration features 2 limited edition razors based on series protagonist Giorno Giovanna and his companion Bruno Bucciarati.

On sale from November 1st 2024, the JoJo’s x AUGER collection comes in two different sets.

Set A, priced at 17,600 yen ($117.51 USD/£90.04 GBP) will contain 4 of each of the limited edition razors, which each come with 5 replacement blades, bundled with a set of 8 exclusive acrylic stands.

The acrylic stands are exclusive to the JoJo’s x AUGER collection and features Giorno as well as all of his companions, Bruno Bucciarati, Trish Una, Guido Mista, Narancia Ghirga, Leone Abbacchio and Pannacotta Fugo, as well as 1 secret type.

Set B, priced at 17,700 yen ($118.18 USD/£90.55 GBP), will include just 1 of each of the limited edition razors, each with 5 replacement blades, the acrylic stand set and 11 different types of AUGER grooming items, including replacement blades, a face towel, hair turban, nail file, tweezers amongst others.

Advance reservations can now be made via the AUGER website, with general sale to take place on the 1st of November until stock runs out.

AUGER will also be running a promotional campaign whereby anyone purchasing the JoJo’s x AUGER collection during the pre-sale, as well as from 1st of November 2024 until the 28th of February 2025, can apply to be entered into entered into a prize draw.

Customers will need to follow 3 simple steps as detailed on the official website to be in with a chance to win one of 50 sets of original razor stands which sees acrylic stands of Giorno and Bruno incorporated into super stylish razor stands.

100 runners up will win a set of 8 original coasters, which will feature the same 7 characters seen in the main razor set’s acrylic stands, as well as the same elusive secret character.

The JoJo’s x AUGER collection will be available to order online, as well as being available to purchase in drug stores and selected home goods retailers/variety goods stores nationwide after its release on the 1st of November, so if you’re shopping in Japan during this time you may be lucky enough to come across a retailer stocking the collection.
