Japan exclusive Sakura Miku merch gets limited time general sale

A range of Japan exclusive merch based on Hatsune Miku’s ‘Sakura Miku’ appearance will now go on general sale, allowing fans outside of Japan to order the goods for their collections.
The goods were previously exclusively sold in two cities in Japan as part of a tourism promotion in Hokkaido prefecture that also saw the creation of a Sakura Miku themed hotel room.

Sakura Miku is a delightful seasonal variant of Hatsune Miku, adorned with cherry blossom and cherry motifs, perfectly capturing the essence of springtime.
Since 2019, KEI’s official main visual for Sakura Miku has been the centerpiece for various merchandise releases.
Hatsune Miku herself is a globally recognized virtual singer, a vocal synthesis software developed by Crypton Future Media in 2007.
Her rise to fame was fueled by countless creators sharing their original music online, leading to her multifaceted career as a prominent virtual artist alongside her fellow Crypton Future Media virtual singers like Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO.
The “Sakura Miku x Hirohako” and “Hatsune Miku x Hirosaki Apple” collaboration goods were initially available for purchase locally in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, and Hakodate City, Hokkaido, as part of a campaign to promote tourism in the two cities.

Now, fans who couldn’t make it to these locations have a chance to acquire these unique items online.
A total of six talented creators – Asagao Minoru, iXima, Sazanami, Tamiura, Mikan Mochi, and wogura – have contributed their original artwork to this exciting collaboration, resulting in a wide range of merchandise to appeal to all Miku fans.
