Wendy’s launches new Japan exclusive luxury truffle burgers

Wendy’s Japan Co. has announced the limited-time availability of four new products, including the “Truffle & Cheese Baconator Double,” at 20 selected store locations, including the Wendy’s First Kitchen Shinjuku South Exit store, beginning Wednesday, March 19th.

These new offerings are inspired by the “Baconator USA,” a classic menu item in the United States that has also gained significant popularity in Japan. The new products feature a luxurious enhancement, incorporating chopped black truffle sauce and white truffle oil.

The Truffle & Cheese Baconator, crafted with meticulously selected ingredients, marks the fourth installment in the company’s series of luxury burgers and will be sold exclusively at the 20 designated stores located in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and other regions.

The company also expresses its hope that international tourists visiting Japan will have the opportunity to enjoy these unique offerings.

Truffle & Cheese Baconator Double – 1,950 yen

This new menu item is a Japan-exclusive creation, based on the “Baconator USA,” a standard menu item in the United States that has also achieved widespread popularity in Japan.

It features chopped black truffle sauce and fragrant white truffle oil, which are combined with rich, melted cheese.

The crispy bacon, smoked with applewood, provides a delightful accent. This limited-edition burger is made with two 100% beef patties, making it a substantial and luxurious dining experience.

Truffle & Cheese Chicken Fillet Baconator Double – 1,700 yen

Wendy’s original “Homestyle Chicken,” which features tender fillet meat and a crispy coating is paired with the truffle sauce and cheese to create a decadent chicken burger.
