Lotteria’s “Matcha Fair” introduces three new seasonal menu items

Lotteria’s seasonal menu update sees the return of the popular flavor of Uji matcha green tea.
The limited-time “Uji Matcha Fair” event will feature a selection of new menu items incorporating Uji matcha green tea.

Uji matcha is a powdered green tea that originates from Uji, a region in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
It is produced from tea leaves that are shaded for several weeks before harvest, which increases the chlorophyll content and gives the tea its vibrant green color.
Uji matcha is known for its rich flavor, which combines sweetness, bitterness, and umami.
The event is designed to coincide with the spring season, offering customers a range of matcha-infused desserts and beverages.
The product lineup for the Lotteria “Uji Matcha Fair” includes three new items:
Uji Matcha Pie

This pastry features a two-layered filling comprising Uji matcha cream and Uji matcha flavored white chocolate cream encased in a crispy pie crust.
Uji Matcha Parfait Shake

This beverage consists of a Uji matcha shake, topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and shaved chocolate.
The shake offers a combination of the slightly bitter notes of Uji matcha and the sweetness of the cream and chocolate topping.
Uji Matcha Shake

This is a straightforward Uji matcha shake, designed to highlight the tea’s aroma and flavor.
The “Uji Matcha Fair” menu will be rolled out to 242 Lotteria locations across Japan, with certain outlets excluded.
It is important to note that the “Uji Matcha Parfait Shake” and “Shake Uji Matcha” may not be available at all participating locations due to equipment limitations. The shakes also cannot be ordered for home delivery.
All three new menu items will be available to order when Lotteria’s “Uji Matcha Fair” starts on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025.
