Houshou Marine takes over Big Echo karaoke chain

Big Echo, one of Japan’s most recognisable karaoke chains, has announced a new collaboration with Houshou Marine.

Houshou Marine is a popular VTuber from the 3rd generation of Hololive boasting 3.44 million subscribers on YouTube and 1.88 million followers on X.

From Wednesday, October 16, 2024 to Sunday, January 5, 2025, the Big Echo x Houshou Marine collaboration will be available at 3 Big Echo stores in Yokohama, Tokyo and Osaka.

Each store will set up a collaboration karaoke room that will feature Houshou Marine visuals on the walls, tables and doors.

The Tokyo and Osaka collaboration rooms will feature the “Garnet Room” design:

Whilst the Yokohama store will feature an exclusive “Coin Shower” design:

The participating stores are as follows:

Tokyo – Akihabara Electric Town Exit Station Store
Osaka – Umeda Station Main Store
Yokohama – Sotetsu Station Exit Main Store (Opens 25th October)

Reservations to use the collaboration room are required and should be made in advance via the official website.

In addition to the karaoke rooms, collaboration drinks will be on offer to help lubricate the vocal cords of customers.

Priced at 600 yen, two drinks named “Hurray for Spending! Coin Shower Golden Drink!” and “Ahoy! Captain Marine!” will be on offer.

Customers who order the collaboration drinks will be provided with a free badge, selected at random from 8 designs based on the CD jackets of Houshou Marine singles:
