Smell like an assassin with new SAKAMOTO DAYS perfume range

Fairy Tail Parfum, known for their perfumes inspired by TV anime and manga, have announced that their latest range will be based on the popular series SAKAMOTO DAYS!

This new set of scents will join their previous anime themed releases based on series such as Mob Psycho 100, Kakegurui and Fairy Tail.

There will be four different perfumes available from the 14th of February, with each one based on a popular character from the series:

Taro Sakamoto Perfume

The first perfume is inspired by the main character of the series, Taro Sakamoto, with the spicy top note evoking Sakamoto’s past as a famous underworld assassin.

The middle notes, with ylang-ylang and cinnamon add warmth to the scent, bringing to mind Sakamoto’s current appearance after retiring from his job as an assassin after meeting Aoi, becoming plump and working as the manager of his own convenience store.

Woody notes accent the overall scent, and the last note, a lingering sweet and delicate scent, conveys Sakamoto’s kindness in how much he cares for Aoi and Hana, and his strength that shows no sign of his declining fighting ability.

  • Overall fragrance: oriental with spicy notes
  • Top notes: cinnamon, cara, benzoin
  • Middle notes: lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, jasmine, Centifolia rose
  • Last notes: sandalwood, cedarwood, white musk

Shin Asakura Perfume

The second perfume is inspired by Shin Asakura, a physic assassin who now works at Sakamoto’s convenience store.

The top notes, with their refreshing lemon and blackcurrant fragrance, represent Shin’s straightforward personality.

The middle notes, with their combination of vetiver and verbena, add strength and warmth to the scent, evoking the image of Shin working alongside Sakamoto at his store.

Cedar and amber add depth to the scent, and the last notes, with their sweet and pleasant fragrance that lingers, convey Shin’s hidden abilities and talents.

  • Overall fragrance: woody/musky
  • Top notes: grapefruit, blackcurrant, lemon
  • Middle notes: rosemary, damask rose, vetiver, patchouli, verbena
  • Last notes: cedarwood, amber, white musk

Lu Shaotang Perfume

The third perfume is inspired by Lu Shoatang, the daughter of a Triad family who now also works at Sakamoto’s convenience store.

The top note, with its spicy floral notes, is inspired by Lu fighting using martial arts.

The middle note, which changes to a sweet and pleasant scent as the scent blends in, gives a glimpse of Lou’s heartwarming side as she works part-time at Sakamoto’s store, making meat buns.

The last note, with its soft, lingering scent of sandalwood and musk, conveys Lu’s affection for her new family at the convenience store.

  • Overall fragrance: spicy/floral
  • Top notes: rose, blackberry, raspberry, bergamot, pink pepper
  • Middle notes: Iris, Rose Centifolia, Freesia
  • Last notes: white musk, cedarwood, sandalwood

Heisuke Mashimo Perfume

The final perfume is inspired by Heisuke Mashimo, an unorthodox master sniper who is the master of the ricochet shot.

The top note, with its refreshing fruity scent, evokes the image of a simple, skilled sniper who cares for his friends.

The middle note, which combines with lavender notes to create a pleasantly sweet scent, conveys the bond between Heisuke and his avian partner Pisuke, who are the perfect team.

The sweetness of white musk and amber dry down the scent, and the last note, with its lingering soft sweetness, brings to mind the image of Heisuke’s joy at being recognised by Sakamoto.
