See in style with new Jujutsu Kaisen themed glasses collaboration
Japanese eyewear brand Zoff are teaming up with Jujutsu Kaisen to release 5 pairs of themed glasses, based on some of the series most popular characters.
Designs based on Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Nanami and Gojo will all feature in the collaboration, with each pair of glasses having elements of the character interwoven into their design.
A special glasses case that has the emblem of each character embossed into the top and the series logo on the inside will come with every purchase, as well as a character specific cleaning cloth.
The Yuji Itadori model is first up, with a black and red design that uses key points on the front of the frame and the arms to capture his essence.
The key character points on this design are the marks under Yuji’s eyes which are featured on the front of the frames in gold and a “Black Flash” themed design on the arms of the glasses.
Next up is the Megumi Fushiguro model, with a striking black and white design that encapsulates his personality perfectly.
The front of the frames features the wheel of “Mahoraga” on each side, with the arms including elements based on the Shikigami “Divine Dogs” and “Rabbit Escape” on one side and “Toad” and “Max Elephant” on the other, as well as “Nue” at the tips of the arm.
The third pair of glasses in the Zoff x Jujutsu Kaisen collection is the Kugisaki Nobara model, which features 3 separate design points unique to her character.
A rose element is featured on the front of the frame, with the arms featuring a nail at the connecting point between the arm and frame, as well as a straw doll engraving on the end of each arm.
The penultimate pair of glasses in the collection is the Nanami Kento model, which are designed to be reminiscent of the glasses Nanami himself wears in the series.
To maintain the style of Nanami’s glasses, the front of the frames do not feature any engraving – in contrast to the other pairs in the collection.
The sides of the frames include simple but effective design elements befitting of Nanami’s character, with an engraving of Nanami’s cursed tool at the end of the arm and a “7/3 Ratio” design in the center of the arm to match his cursed technique.
The final pair in the collection is the Satoru Gojo model, which will no doubt be one of the most popular with fans.
The Gojo design features a slender frame that evokes Gojo’s cool and composed style, with three unique arm elements that capture key character points.
The first key point is a design element at the top of the arm that is intended to resemble the fusion of Gojo’s techniques Cursed Technique Reversal: Red and Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue into the ultimate Hollow Technique: Purple.
In-keeping with this theme, the hand sign used to activate Hollow Technique: Purple is engraved at the end of the arm.
The final element is a clear section in the center of the arm, which is intended to represent Gojo’s Limitless technique.
All of the glasses in the Zoff x Jujutsu Kaisen collection are priced at 13,300 yen (approx. $85.55 USD/£67.32 GBP).
Set to go on sale from Friday the 13th of December 2024 at select Zoff stores across Japan, pre-orders can now be placed online via the official website.
