Hatsune Miku takes over camping resort in Japan in new collab

Hatsune Miku will be visiting a popular glamping resort in Japan as part of a new collaboration.

Kanade no Mori Resorts is located in Shizuoka Prefecture, a region known for its natural beauty, including views of Mount Fuji and its proximity to the Pacific coast.

The resort is also near to Mount Omuroyama and Ito City, making it a great place to get away from the busy cities of Japan.

Hatsune Miku is a popular virtual singer and cultural icon, originating as a Vocaloid software voicebank and now known globally for her presence in music, animation and other forms of media.

Collaboration events of this nature, combining popular characters with tourist destinations, are a common strategy in Japan to attract visitors and promote regional tourism.

The event is currently underway, having started on March 20th, and features a range of activities designed to appeal to fans of Hatsune Miku, as well as families and tourists visiting the resort.

Kanade no Mori is offering a special accommodation package for guests staying at their glamping facilities.

This plan includes breakfast and dinner as well as “Kanade no Mori Resort x Hatsune Miku” branded gifts including a hoodie, a stainless steel tumbler, a 5000mAh power bank and a branded storage pouch.

Hatsune Miku inspired dishes will be available in the resorts on-site restaurant and a full schedule of events have been put in place for visitors during the event which includes a mystery walk, craft workshops and a figure search.

Hatsune Miku will also be making special appearances at the resort during the first weekend in April.

Mystery Solving Walk Rally

A self-guided activity encouraging participants to explore the Kanade no Mori Resorts complex while engaging in an authentic puzzle-solving quest.

Upon successful completion of the rally, participants will receive limited-edition original merchandise related to the collaboration.

An optional, more challenging set of “Additional Quests” is also available, offering participants the chance to win more exclusive prizes.

• Reception Hours: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Reception Location: Kanade no MARCHE, a facility within the resort.
• Participation Fee: Free of charge.
• Difficulty Levels: Participants can choose between “Easy” (suitable for all ages) and “Hard” (recommended for junior high school students and above).
• Prizes: The prizes awarded upon completion of the main quest are the same regardless of the chosen difficulty level.
• Details: Further information and quest instructions are provided on an adventure map distributed at the reception location.

Original Resin Making Experience

A hands-on workshop offering participants the opportunity to create unique resin charms and accessories using parts specifically designed for the “Kanade no Mori Resort x Hatsune Miku” event. The activity is presented as accessible to individuals of all skill levels.

• Selectable Creations: Participants can choose to create various items, including small charms, initial keychains, shaker charms (containing loose decorative elements), and decorated card cases.
• Creation Time: The estimated time required for each creation varies: small charms and initial keychains (40-60 minutes), shaker charms and decorated card cases (60-90 minutes).
• Decorative Parts: Participants can select up to a specified number of standard decorative parts for their creations. Additional parts are available for a separate charge.
• Original Miku Parts: Participants can incorporate up to two original Hatsune Miku-themed parts into their resin creations. The use of additional original Miku parts is not permitted.
• Experience Times: Scheduled sessions are offered at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.

Hidden Miku Search Quest

A facility-wide hide-and-seek activity where participants are tasked with locating five Hatsune Miku figures hidden throughout the Kanade no Mori Resorts complex. Participants are encouraged to share photographs of the discovered figures on social media platforms using the designated hashtag “#MikuSearch in Kanade no Mori.”

Hatsune Miku Appearance

A series of scheduled appearances by Hatsune Miku will take place within the Kanade no Mori facility.

• Dates and Times:
  • Friday, April 4th: 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, April 5th: 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:30 PM
  • Sunday, April 6th: 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:30 PM
• Venue: Specific locations within the Kanade no Mori Resorts facility will host the appearances. Visitors are invited to attend and meet Miku!

Limited-edition merchandise featuring original illustrations created specifically for the “Kanade no Mori Resort x Hatsune Miku” collaboration will be available for purchase, with illustrations having been created by artists A-Gyo and Tatamiya-san.

The themed merchandise, which can only be acquired during the event period, includes items such as clear files, acrylic keychains, mobile batteries, smartphone stands, fans, desk mats, acrylic stands, key rings, and T-shirts.

Pricing has not been confirmed for any items as they will only be sold at the resorts “KANADE NO MARCHE” store.

Due to the popularity of the “Kanade no Mori Resort x Hatsune Miku” event, there is currently a waiting list for reservations on many of dates the event is running.

The collaboration ends on the 6th of April, so you’ll need to book your stay soon to make sure you can take part in the Hatsune Miku themed fun at the resort.
