Final details for ONE PIECE x Los Angeles Lakers confirmed ahead of game night

In December, plans were confirmed for a collaborative event between the “ONE PIECE” franchise and the Los Angeles Lakers, scheduled to take place at a game night in Los Angeles on February 28th, 2025.

The final details have been revealed ahead of the game, with an exciting announcement for those attending.

A special visual has been created that features Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Crew in Los Angeles Lakers kits and cheer uniforms:

A poster of the events key visual will be gifted to those attending the game

This amazing visual will be gifted to those attending the game as a poster, and part of the image will feature on an exclusive T-Shirt that will be given to every ticketholder:

Every ticketholder will receive a special T-Shirt featuring Luffy

A number of different “ONE PIECE” themed attractions will also be held throughout the game night experience, including the premiere of a specially created animation showing Monkey D. Luffy playing basketball.

There will also be a “ONE PIECE BOUNTY RUSH” themed photo booth available for fans to take photos in to commemorate the evening, which will be located on the main concourse of the Crypto.com arena.

For fans of both ONE PIECE and basketball, the Los Angeles Lakers x ONE PIECE game night experience is sure to be a fantastic event.

This isn’t the only ONE PIECE themed sporting event being held this year though.

ONE PIECE will also visit Boston’s Fenway Park for a day of anime and baseball fun

A recent announcement confirmed that the Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE theme day will take place in May this year, which means that fans of one of America’s other favorite sports will have a chance to take part in ONE PIECE themed sporting festivities.
