Touhou Project partners with maid cafe for spring themed menu

A collaboration event is planned to take place between Touhou Project and CURE MAID CAFÉ, which will begin on April 12th.

Touhou Project, also known simply as Touhou, is a popular Japanese doujin game series created by ZUN, the sole member of Team Shanghai Alice.

The series is primarily known for its challenging “bullet hell” shoot ’em up gameplay set in the fictional realm of Gensokyo, inhabited by humans and supernatural beings.

Beyond the games, Touhou boasts a vast and vibrant fan-made culture, including music, fan fiction, and artwork, making it a significant phenomenon within doujin circles since its first game in 1996.

The cafe has been designed around the theme of ‘Hakurei Shrine ~ Spring Festival 2025 Cafe’ and the event will run in two phases with the first, April 12th to April 30th, based on “Touhou Kaeizuka” to celebrate the games 20th anniversary.

The theme for the second phase of the cafe is still to be confirmed and will be announced on CURE MAID CAFÉ’s social media at a later date.

A wide range of menu items will be available to order including 11 collaboration drinks inspired by the characters:
