What to expect at Tokyo Dome City Winter Illumination 2024

Tokyo Dome will become ‘Tokyo Snow Dome City’ for its 2024 winter illuminations.

The Tokyo Dome City complex will be lit with sparkling white lights reminiscent of snow in winter.

There will be 4 different light installations around the area that are perfect for taking photos with and getting you feeling festive.

Crystal Avenue Lawn Square will be home to a 15 meter tall tree of lights.

Every 15 minutes a light and soap bubble show will create a magical atmosphere as if inside a snow globe.

Performances will take place from 17:00-22:45 every hour at 00 min/15 min/ 30 min/ 45 min.

LaQua Garden 1st floor will be home to the ‘Snowflake Dome’, an interactive experience controlled by a tablet in the centre of the pod, where you can take photos that look like you’re surrounded by snowflakes.

Photo opportunities will be between 17:00 and 21:00 daily.

LaQua 2nd Floor Thunder Dolphin Underpass will be transformed into the ‘Sparkle Tunnel’.

The tunnel, decorated with lights and reflective ornaments, has been designed to give the feeling of entering a snow globe.

Meets Port 3rd Floor Garden will host the ‘Reflecting Dome’, an interactive experience where visitors can enjoy the beautiful changes in light caused by reflections as they spin the mirror ball.

Other events happening over the Tokyo Dome City Winter Illumination will include a Santa greeting experience, bubble performance shows & workshops, a snow dome store and a mini Christmas Market.

When will Tokyo Dome City Winter Illumination 2024 take place?

Tokyo Dome City Winter Illumination will take place from the 18th November 2024 until the 28th February 2025.

Illuminations will be lit from 17:00 until 24:00 daily.

Nearest Station: Tokyo Dome City Winter Illumination is best accessed from Korakuen Station using the Marunouchi Line or the Namboku Line.

You can also reach the event from Suidōbashi Station uisng the Mita Line or the Chūō-Sōbu Line.

Alternatively, Tokyo Dome City Winter Illumination can be reached from Kasuga Station by taking the Mita Line or the Oedo Line.
