What to expect at Snow Miku in Sapporo JR Tower
This Snow Miku event consists of a number of different activities, including an AR Snow Miku Illumination show and an Immersive Digital Show.
The AR Snow Miku Illumination Show will take place at Sapporo Station South Exit Square and looks to create a magical interactive experience for visitors.
You can watch an AR show of Snow Miku singing and dancing by pointing your smartphone at the illuminations.
To interact with the AR show, visitors must download the AR viewer app “HoloModels”, available on both iOS and Android devices.
An Immersive Digital Show and exclusive photo spots will be held at Sapporo JR Tower Observation Deck T38, with more details still to be confirmed.
For Miku fans who are unable to visit the event in person, an event will be held virtually over VRChat.
A Snow Miku Crystal Snow Show will take place each hour and there will also be the opportunity to virtually meet Miku, with an exclusive Virtual Snow Miku Greeting.
When will Snow Miku in Sapporo JR Tower take place?
Events during Snow Miku in JR Tower will take place throughout the 1st to the 11th February 2025.
The Immersive Digital Show at Sapporo JR Tower Observation Deck T38 will take place on the 7th to the 9th of February 2025.
The photo spots at the observation deck will however be available from the 1st to the 11th February.
Observation deck opening hours will be 10:00 to 22:00 daily, with last entry at 21:30.
The AR Snow Miku Illumination Show will take place at Sapporo Station South Exit Square from the 7th to the 9th of February 2025, with illuminations lit from 17:00 to 22:00.
The Virtual Snow Miku Greeting on VRChat will be available from the 1st to the 11th of February 2025.
How much does Snow Miku in Sapporo JR Tower cost?
The AR Illumination Show at Sapporo Station South Exit Square is free to attend.
Entry to Sapporo JR Tower Observation Deck T38, which allows you to experience the photo spots, is priced at 740 yen for adults, 520 yen for high school students, 320 yen for elementary school students and free for children under 3 years of age.
The Immersive Digital Show, held in the same location, will require payment of both the observation entry fee and an event fee. The event fee is yet to be confirmed.
Tickets are required for the Virtual Snow Miku Greeting which are priced at 2,500 yen per person and can be purchased by the official website.
How do I get to JR Tower?
Nearest Station: The event is best reached from Sapporo Station by taking the Hakodate Main Line, Chitose Line, Hakodate Main Line or the Sasshō Line (Gakuen Toshi Line).
