Shonen Jump+ app celebrates 10 years with Tokyo exhibition

Shueisha’s digital manga app “Shonen Jump +” is holding its first-ever dedicated exhibition.

The “Shonen Jump + Exhibition JUMP PLUS 10TH ANNIVERSARY” exhibition will be held at the Terada Warehouse G1 Building in Tennozu Isle, Tokyo.

“Shonen Jump +” is a digital manga magazine app which features over 70 original free serialized manga and digital subscriptions to “Weekly Shonen Jump” and “Jump Comics”.

The app reached a cumulative total of 29 million downloads and celebrated its 10th anniversary in September 2024.

The exhibition showcases the history and current state of “Shonen Jump +” as well as featuring displays based on popular manga series available within the app.

Admission tickets, including tickets with exclusive merchandise, are now available to purchase.

Shonen Jump+ Exhibition Limited Edition Illustration Card

Visitors to the exhibitions will receive two cards limited edition illustration cards per ticket, featuring illustrations from “Shonen Jump +” series.

One card will be a weekly changing design while the other will be selected at random from 24 different designs.

  • One card selected from the weekly bonus designs:
    • Week 1 (April 18-27): “SPY×FAMILY” / Anya.
    • Week 2 (April 28-May 4): “Kaiju No. 8” / Kafka & Reno & Kikoru.
    • Week 3 (May 5-11): “Dandadan” / Okarun.
    • Week 4 (May 12-18): “SPY×FAMILY” / Forger family.

Exhibition Highlights

The exhibition will be split into multiple areas and offer a range of displays, videos and exhibits.

Large-scale displays of illustrations and videos will feature within the Welcome area, Jump+ Exhibition Special Theater and Jump+ Road area.

There will be dedicated areas for popular series including SPY×FAMILY, Kaiju No. 8 and Dandadan, with areas set aside for taking photos.

A collection of memorable quotes from “Shonen Jump +” series will be displayed on the Jump+ Famous Quotes Wall.

The Jump + God Wall is a display that will show famous and highly regarded chapters from various manga series.

There will also be an interactive area called the Great! Wall where visitors can place “Ii Jan!” (Good!) stickers on their favorite works.

Displays allowing visitors to view reproduced manga manuscripts alongside author comments will also be available.

Over 50 original goods featuring exhibition-exclusive illustrations have been produced.

Exhibition Details

  • Dates: April 18th to May 18th 2025 (open daily).
  • Venue: Warehouse Terrada G1 Building (Tennozu Isle, Tokyo).
  • Opening Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:30 PM).
    • Extended hours on April 27 (Sunday), May 18 (Sunday), Fridays, Saturdays, and days before holidays: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (last entry at 7:30 PM).
  • Entry will only be permitted on the designated date/time shown on the entry ticket.

  • General ticket sales (first come, first served): Monday, March 10th, 2025, 10:00 AM to Sunday, May 18th, 2025, 5:00 PM (until 1 hour before each session).
