Sanrio and Don Quijote collaborate for new apparel line

Japan’s iconic discount store, Don Quijote, has revealed a new range of apparel that will feature popular Sanrio characters.

The new collection will feature 10 different Sanrio characters, including fan favorites Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and more, alongside Don Quijote’s penguin mascots “DONPEN” and “DONKO”.

The collaboration goods will be available at a large number of Don Quijote stores across Japan

Available from the 27th of March whilst stocks last, four different T-Shirt types will be available, as well as 2 types of shorts.

Once different character variations are taken into account for each item of apparel, Sanrio fans will actually be able to pick their favorite design from a total of42 different T-Shirts and 26 different types of shorts.

Each item will come with either an exclusive hangar or a collaboration sticker.

The new range of T-Shirts and shorts in the Sanrio x Don Quijote collection will be available at select Don Quijote stores across Japan from the 27th of March 2025.

No end date for sales has been announced, however stock is likely to be limited for popular characters, so you’ll need to head to your nearest “Donki” as soon as possible to get your hands on the collection.
