Promare 5th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo opens this February

Overview

A special exhibition commemorating the 5th anniversary of the acclaimed anime film “Promare” will be held from February 21st to March 10th 2025, at PARCO FACTORY inside Ikebukuro PARCO.

Titled “THE MAKING OF PROMARE,” the exhibition will offer a unique glimpse into the production process of this groundbreaking anime film, directed by Imaishi Hiroyuki and written by Nakashima Kazuki, and produced by TRIGGER.

Visitors can expect to see a wide range of valuable materials, including proposals, rough sketches, image boards, storyboards, original drawings, and 3DCG footage, showcasing the creative journey behind the film’s distinctive blend of hand-drawn and 3DCG animation.

In addition to the exhibition, a selection of exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase, including 5th-anniversary acrylic stands and T-shirts featuring original illustrations, collectible cards showcasing stunning designs, and badges featuring key settings from the film.

A range of original goods such as “design T-shirts,” “collaboration clear files,” and “original artwork sheets” will be available at the exhibition:

Opening Times: 11:00 to 21:00 (last entry 30 minutes before closing, exhibition will close at 18:00 on the final day)

Entry Cost

To reduce congestion, advance tickets with designated date and time will be sold through Ticket Pia.

Price: 1,500 yen (tax included) (Includes admission bonus)

*Free for elementary school students and younger (must be accompanied by a guardian)

*Tickets can be purchased up until 23:59 on the day before entry only if there are vacant admission slots.
