Event Overview
Experience the beauty of bright pink plum blossom at Jindai Botanical Gardens.
The gardens is home to over 160 plum trees, made up of around 70 different varieties resulting in a stunning range of pink and red hues.
The Plum Festival is held yearly to coincide with the best viewing time, which is when the blossom are in full bloom.
Calendar of events
A special Plum Concert will be held on Sunday the 23rd February on the Lawn Square, where visitors can enjoy elegant music inspired by plum blossoms.
Performances by Shiba Arii (Shinobue, Nohkan) and Ishii Kana (Koto) will begin at 11:15am and 2:15pm and last approximately 30 minutes each.
Weekends and holidays during the festival will see food trucks situated around the plum garden with a variety of tasty treats, hot drinks and light bites available from 10:00 to 16:00.

Entry Cost
Tickets to enter Jindai Botanical Gardens are priced at 200 yen for junior high school students, 250 yen for adults aged over 65 and 500 yen for adults.
