Event Overview
Ōme Umeno (Plum) Park offers visitors a delightful experience, combining the beauty of plum blossoms with a vibrant festival atmosphere.
The park is part of Yoshino Baigo, a 4km stretch along the Tama River between Hinatawada and Futamatao Stations, known for its 25,000 plum trees and is renowned as one of Tokyo’s premier plum blossom viewing destinations.
Ōme is the perfect destination for those seeking not only stunning floral displays but also a lively event featuring tours, traditional dances, performances, and marches.
While the park now boasts numerous plum trees, it’s worth noting that these were replanted after a necessary clearing in 2014, meaning the trees may not yet be as mature as those found in other parks.
