My Melody 50th Anniversary pop up shops open across Japan

A new pop up shop celebrating the 50th Anniversary of popular Sanrio character, My Melody will open at several locations nationwide from the 26th March.

My Melody is a sweet rabbit sporting a red or pink hood, created by Miyako Matsumoto in 1975, she embodies innocence and kindness.

Often associated with her rival Kuromi, My Melody’s gentle nature and charming design have made her a cultural icon.

She’s featured in numerous merchandise, animations, and collaborations, captivating fans of all ages with her timeless appeal.

The pop up shops will have a wide range of merchandise available on offer along with purchase bonuses for customers.
