A new pop up shop for Hatsune Miku “39Culture 2025” will open in 8 locations nationwide from the 3rd April.
Miku “39Culture” is a series of events and collaborations celebrating the virtual pop star Hatsune Miku.
These events encompass concerts featuring Miku’s holographic performances, art exhibitions showcasing fan and official creations, and the release of exclusive merchandise.
“39” is a pun on “Miku” (mi = 3, ku = 9 in Japanese). These initiatives foster community engagement and highlight the diverse creative output inspired by Hatsune Miku, further solidifying her cultural impact across music, art, and technology.
The pop up shop will have a theme of ‘Retro & Pop’ and will feature 2 sets of newly created illustrations of the characters based on cool ‘street style’ and bright ‘pastel city pop’ inspired looks.
There will be a range of new merchandise available featuring the illustrations and the stores will be decorated with life sized standees of Miku and friends.
