Kakegurui pop up shop to open in Shibuya this March

A brand new pop up shop for popular series Kakegurui is set to open in MEDICOS SHOP Shibuya from the 15th to the 30th March 2025.

“Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler” plunges into life at the elite Hyakkaou Private Academy, where students’ social standing is determined by gambling prowess, as Jabami Yumeko, a new transfer student, disrupts the status quo with her insatiable appetite for high-risk bets.

The manga, written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Tōru Naomura, began serialization in Gangan Joker in March 2014.

An anime adaptation by MAPPA aired from July to September 2017, further popularizing its intense psychological thrills and extravagant character designs.  

The shop will be selling all new products featuring illustrations from the original work and will also be handing out bonus illustration cards.

A wide variety of goods will be on sale, including acrylic stands, apparel, art prints, badges and more.

Purchase Bonus

For every 2,000 yen spent at the pop up shop, customers will receive 1 exclusive illustration card (selected at random from 8 types).

Entry Information

To ease congestion at the event on the opening day (15th March) a lottery admission system will be put in place by the venue.

Numbered tickets will be distributed to customers from 10:00 to 10:10, with entry to the store beginning at 11:00.
