Kahoen Sakura Festival
Last Updated on March 27, 2025

Event Overview
Kahoen, also known as Hosenji Temple Four Seasons Garden, is renowned for its scenic beauty throughout the changing seasons, with a particular emphasis on the abundance of sakura trees that flourish during the spring.
The garden showcases a variety of cherry blossom types, including shidarezakura, characterized by its weeping-style branches, and omuro sakura, which are notable for their later blooming period compared to other sakura varieties.

To commemorate the blooming season, the garden will host a festival spanning slightly over two weeks.
During this festival, on two designated Saturdays, the park will extend its operating hours until 8:30 pm, featuring illuminated displays after nightfall.
On standard days throughout the festival period, the garden will be open to visitors from 8 am until 5 pm.
