Junket Bank cafe to open in Tokyo this May

A new cafe for Junket Bank will open in Tokyo from the 2nd May.

Junket Bank is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Sawada.

The high-stakes story revolves around Haruki Serizawa, a young man who becomes entangled in the dangerous world of illegal gambling and debt brokering as he navigates treacherous deals and manipulative figures within the shadowy “junket bank” system.

The manga delves into themes of risk, desperation, and the dark underbelly of finance and was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine from 2020 to 2023.

The cafe will be serving a specially crafted menu inspired by the characters and will have limited edition collab goods for customers to purchase.

From Friday, May 16th to Monday May 26th 2025 customers who visit the cafe will be given a birthday illustration card to commemorate Kanae Reimei’s birthday.

Reservations

Table reservations can be made online via the official website from the 7th April 2025.

There are two types of seat reservations that can be made:

• Character panel seats
  • Ticket price – 600 yen per person (tax included)
  • includes – 1 placemat, a meal coupon worth 300 yen that can be used for dining on the day and a gift campaign entry ticket

• Regular seats
  • Ticket price – 400 yen per person (tax included)
  • Includes – guarantee of regular seating, 1 placemat and a meal coupon worth 300 yen that can be used for dining on the day

Same day visits can be made without a reservation if tables are available.

There is no extra seat fee for standard tables, should you wish to use the character panel seats, a character panel seat fee of 200 yen will be charged 
per person.
