Jindai Botanical Garden Sakura Festival
Last Updated on March 27, 2025

Event Overview
The Jindai Botanical Gardens in Tokyo feature a collection of approximately 600 cherry trees, encompassing multiple cultivars.
A significant portion of these trees are situated within a designated cherry blossom garden area. During the peak blooming season, the gardens host an annual festival to celebrate this floral display.

The presence of diverse cherry tree varieties, including the early-blooming Prunus campanulata (okanzakura) and the later-blooming Prunus serrulata (satozakura) cultivars, extends the period during which the blossoms can be observed.
In addition to the horticultural attractions, the festival schedule includes musical performances and the presence of food vendors on specific dates during the festival.
