There will be a countdown to midnight and then a huge display of 8,000 fireworks will last from 24:00 to 24:10 to celebrate the new year.

Special reserved seating areas are available to prebook on the official website to give visitors the option of securing the best view for the show.

For 2024 there is also a new viewing area open where you can enjoy the fireworks and Japan’s largest musical fountain show simultaneously, creating an enchanting experience of fountains, lights, music and fireworks.

The fireworks will be visible around the park and the entirety of the European town destination will be illuminated during the New Year countdown with search light style illuminations.

If you don’t want to let the magical experience of Huis Ten Bosch end, consider staying at one of the park’s hotels such as Hotel Okura or Hotel Amsterdam.

Huis Ten Bosch New Year Countdown will take place on the 31st December 2024.

The event will run from 09:00 on the 31st December 2024 until 04:00 on the 1st January 2025.

Fireworks will be held from 24:00 to 24:10.
