What to expect at Huis Ten Bosch Christmas Town 2024

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year at Huis Ten Bosch as the park is transformed into a European winter wonderland.

A giant Christmas tree will be installed in the Amsterdam City part of the park, with the surrounding area decorated with trinkets and ornaments to transform it into the Christmas square.

The square will also be lit with festive illuminations, adding to the Christmas feel.

You’ll feel as though you’ve been transported across the globe as horse-drawn carriages trundle past and you’ll be met with the scent of warming festive foods that are available from food stalls in the square.

At 18:30 each day in Amsterdam Square, a Christmas show will take place with a Choir performing festive songs, projection mappings and fireworks against the back drop of the Stadhuis (City Hall).

Christmas Market

One of the biggest events at the park during this time is the European style Christmas market, held in the Attraction Town area of the park.

There will be a variety of stalls selling food, sweets and Christmas themed goods such as decorations, making it the perfect place to pick up a gift.

Christmas Lights

The park will be illuminated and sparkling with plenty of places to take beautiful photos, one of the most impressive being Japan’s first triple decker Carousel.

Fun for everyone

With so much to see and do in the park during Huis Ten Bosch Christmas Town, there really is something for everyone.

The event will also have carnival games, fireworks displays, festive food, limited edition merchandise and even the chance to meet Santa Claus.

When will Huis Ten Bosch Christmas Town 2024 take place?

Christmas Town at Huis Ten Bosch will take place from the 8th November 2024 until the 6th January 2025.

Park opening hours during this time will be 09:00 until 21:00/22:00, depending on the day. Check here for daily opening times.

Full day tickets are priced as follows:

Child (4-6) Tickets – 3,700 yen

Child (7-11) Tickets – 4,800 yen

Youth (12-17) Tickets – 6,400 yen

Adult Tickets – 7,400 yen

Senior (65+) Tickets – 5,400 yen

Half day tickets (entry after 15:00) are priced as follows:

Child (4-6) Tickets – 2,800 yen

Child (7-11) Tickets – 3,600 yen

Youth (12-17) Tickets – 4,800 yen

Adult Tickets – 5,600 yen

Senior (65+) Tickets – 4,200 yen
