What to expect at Ebisu Garden Place Illumination & Christmas Market 2024

One of the grandest events happening in Tokyo this Christmas season is the Ebisu Garden Place Illumination & Christmas Market.

The main feature of the event is set to be the Baccarat “Eternal Lights” chandelier, with 2024 marking the 25th anniversary of the chandelier being displayed at Ebisu Garden Place for the holiday season.

The 250 light chandelier is one of the worlds largest by the French brand Baccarat, displaying crystal techniques and innovations refined over the brands’ 260 year history.

The Clock Square will boast a 10 meter tall Christmas tree dressed with lights and red themed ornaments that will be lit daily from 16:00 until 23:00.

Two Christmas markets will be held over the event in both the Clock Square and the Chateau Square.

Markets will be open 17:00-20:00 on weekdays and 12:00-20:00 on holidays & weekends.

There will be stalls selling a range of goods such as decorations & ornaments, fine foods and fashion goods.

Over the weekends of the event, BLUE NOTE PLACE will be bringing donuts, coffee and good music to the Clock Square with the “GOOD MUSIC TERRACE”.

*Christmas market and Christmas trees are only available until the 25th December 2024.
