City Hunter retro theme pop up shop to open in Tokyo this March

A new pop up shop for the series City Hunter will open at Gallery of Hakaba in Nakano Broadway from the 19th March to the 22nd April 2025.
City Hunter, created by Tsukasa Hojo, follows Ryo Saeba, a skilled private detective and marksman operating in Tokyo.
He and his partner Kaori Makimura, work as “City Hunter”, taking on dangerous cases while Ryo pursues his insatiable appetite for beautiful women.
With the main themes of action, comedy, and romance, the manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1985 to 1991.
Known for its stylish art and charismatic protagonist, “City Hunter” became a classic title, spawning successful anime adaptations and films.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series the pop up shop is based around the theme ‘RETRO POP DAYS’, focusing on city pop and retro designs which will feature on exclusive merchandise for the event.
