What to expect at the Blue Exorcist Exhibition in Kyoto

The Museum of Kyoto will be hosting the Blue Exorcist Exhibition in Kyoto event which will feature a number of displays, exhibits and a range of exclusive merchandise available to purchase.

Please note that the exhibits and original exhibition goods sold at this exhibition include stories and illustrations that have not yet been animated.

All entrants to the exhibition will be gifted 1 exclusive bromide card (selected at random from 5 types).

The exhibition will feature a number of different exhibits that transport visitors into the world of Blue Exorcist.

Profiles of characters such as Rin and the other students, Mephisto and Shura, as well as color illustrations of each of them that have appeared on the covers of manga, are presented in beautiful stained glass-like decorations.

Rin’s Awakening

The exhibit will take visitors on a tour of the series so far – relive the start of Blue Exorcist and Rin’s awakening as the son of Satan.

Kyoto Impure King Arc

The exhibit will then focus on the series third arc, the Kyoto Impure King Arc. Various materials used in the creation of the series will be on display.

Shima’s betrayal, Izumo’s past, and the showdown with the Illuminati are all covered as part of the exhibit based on the Shimane Illuminati Arc.

A wide variety of color illustrations and notes from the animation team form one of the final exhibits, which also features a life size statue of Mephisto Pheles and Kuro.

Visitors to the exhibit will also have the opportunity to purchase limited edition events goods.

The event will take place from in Summer 2025, with exact dates to be confirmed.

How much does the Blue Exorcist Exhibition in Kyoto cost?

The Blue Exorcist Exhibition in Kyoto event will cost from 600 yen per person.

Advance tickets will be available via Lawson Ticket once the exhibition dates have been confirmed. On the day tickets will be available at the venue.

Customers purchasing tickets via Lawson Ticket will also be given the option to purchase a ticket with exclusive bonus goods.

The bonus goods will be a clear card and bookmark set featuring the exhibitions key visuals of 9 different characters, which comes complete with a hardcover folder for storage.
