Assassination Classroom ’10th Anniversary’ Cafe to open in Tokyo and Kobe

A new collaboration cafe between popular anime Assassination Classroom and the well known Japanese restaurant chain ‘Sweets Paradise’ will open in Tokyo and Kobe from the 22nd April.

“Assassination Classroom” is a popular Japanese manga series created by Yusei Matsui.

Blending comedy, action, and heartfelt moments, the story centers on a bizarre yet compelling premise: a class of junior high students tasked with assassinating their alien teacher, Koro-sensei, who threatens to destroy Earth.

The manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from July 2012 to March 2016, gaining fans for its unique narrative and memorable characters.

The collab cafe will be serving up a menu of dishes inspired by the characters and a range of limited edition collab merch will be available for customers to purchase.

Customers who order from the collaboration menu will receive one of 2 paper place mats at random and for every item ordered from the menu customers will receive an exclusive character coaster (selected at random from 15 types).

For every 2,000 yen spent at the collab cafe customers will receive one exclusive postcard (selected at random from 15 types).

For every 4,000 yen spent on collaboration goods customers will receive one entry into a lottery with the chance to win one of 10 character panels that will be on display during the event.
