What to expect at Tokyo International Film Festival 2024
Tokyo International Film Festival 2024 (TIFF) brings the beauty of cinema to Tokyo.
The festival’s mission is to “amplify the possibilities of cinema from Tokyo and contribute to interactions with a diverse world”.
2024 marks TIFF’s 37th year of running.
TIFF 2024 will open with a screening of “11 Rebels” directed by Shiraishi Kazuya and will be closed with a screening of “Marcello Mio”, directed by Christophe Honoré.
The centrepiece of TIFF 2024 will be “Gladiator II” directed by Ridley Scott.
The festival sees the Asian premier of what is set to be one of the most iconic films of the year, on the 5th November.
