What to expect at Marunouchi Bright Holiday 2024

Tokyo’s Marunouchi area will be taken over this winter, in a collaboration event with Super Mario.

The main attraction of the event will be the Super Mario Power Up Illumination, located in Marunouchi Building 1st Floor Maru Cube, which features popular Super Mario characters and icons that will light up with a themed illumination and video display that will take place from 17:00-21:00 each day, with shows happening every 15 minutes.

Various places around the Marunouchi area will be home to collaboration photo spots and special holiday displays.

Areas will include Princess Peach Showtime! Sparkling photo spot, Yoshi’s Colourful Bright Zone, Luigi’s Mansion Haunted Terrace, Toad’s Holiday Garden and Bright Holidays Warp Pipe Photo Spot.

The areas will be located as follows:

Princess Peach Showtime! Sparkling photo spot – Shin-marunouchi Building 3rd Floor Atrium

Yoshi’s Colourful Bright Zone – Marunouchi Oazo 1F OO Square

Luigi’s Mansion Haunted Terrace – Marunouchi Terrace 1F Plaza

Toad’s Holiday Garden – Marunouchi Brick Square 1F Ichigokan Square

Bright Holidays Warp Pipe Photo Spot – Kunigiwa (Kokusai Building) 1F

 A stamp rally will be available to complete by visiting all of the different areas on the map.

Stamp forms are required to participate – forms are priced at 200 yen and are available from participating stores.

Prizes for completing the stamp rally are limited edition stickers and clear files, more details about this can be found on the official website.

During the event many of the surrounding stores and restaurants will have limited Super Mario goods and themed food and drinks available.

A Super Mario pop up store will also be set up in the Marunouchi Building 1st Floor Maru Cube with official Nintendo Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto merchandise and new winter themed merchandise available.

Nearest Station: Marunouchi Bright Holiday is best accessed from Nijūbashimae Station using the Chiyoda Line.

The event can also be reached from Tokyo Station using the Marunouchi Line, Yamanote Line, Chūō Line (Rapid), Tokaido Line, Yokosuka Line, Keiyō Line, Keihin-Tōhoku Line or the Jōban Line.

Alternatively, Marunouchi Bright Holiday can be reached from Ōtemachi Station using the Chiyoda Line, Hanzomon Line, Marunouchi Line, Tozai Line or the Mita Line.
