& chouette × Kuromi collection hits stores across Japan

Samantha Thavasa Japan have announced the release of a new collection under their “& choutte” brand.

The “& chouette × Kuromi” collection sees the popular fashion brand team up with Sanrio’s mischievous Kuromi, with a range of items set to be released into stores across Japan.

The first item in the collection is a bicolor handbag, priced at 16,500 yen (approx. $110.35 USD/£84.97 GBP), which has black and lavender elements matching Kuromi’s color pallette.

The bag also has a side pocket next to the main zipper, making it perfect for storing small items and smartphones.

The handbag design is accented with metal fittings shaped like Kuromi, as well as a single heart-shaped jewel in the center of the front ribbon.

The sides of the bag feature two laced up sections and a patch reminiscent of Kuromi’s tail and the back of the bag features a Kuromi print.

The second item in the collection is the Kuromi side/shoulder bag, which again features lace and metal fittings to give a premium feel.

Priced at 14,300 yen (approx. $95.64 USD/£73.64 GBP), the side/shoulder bag has three layers for easy organization which allows you to neatly separate small items into each compartment.

A Kuromi themed folding wallet and fragment case are also in the collection, priced at 13,200 yen (approx. $88.28 USD/£67.98 GBP) and 11,000 yen (approx. $73.57 USD/£56.65 GBP) respectively.

The final item in the collection is a bag charm which comes in two colorways, black and two tone.

Priced at 5,500 yen each (approx. $36.78 USD/£28.30 GBP), the charms make a great addition to the bags in the collection.

The “& chouette × Kuromi” collection is set to go on sale from the 18th of October.
