"Spy x Family" teams up with "Samurai Blue" in new merch line

The popular anime “Spy x Family” has teamed up with the Japanese national soccer team, with new pop-up shops opening to sell special collaboration goods.

Taking place at Village Vanguard and Kotobukiya stores, the collab sees Anya, Loid and Yor Forger don their football kits in support of the “Samurai Blue”, with their faithful family dog Bond also in support.

Village Vanguard stores will be the first to stock the collaboration goods with the “Samurai Blue”, which is a nickname for the Japanese national soccer team.

The collaboration goods will go on sale at 10 Village Vanguard stores nationwide from the 11th of October until the 10th of November 2024.

The full list of Village Vanguard stores set to stock the collaboration are:

Tokyo – Village Vanguard Shibuya main store, Celeo Kokubunji and Machida Lumine.

Chiba – Village Vanguard AEON MALL Makuhari New City

Saitama – Village Vanguard Kawagoe Lumine and AEON Laketown

Kanagawa – Village Vanguard Yokohama Vivre and Newstyle Kawasaki Le Front

Aichi – Village Vanguard Nagoya PARCO

Osaka – Village Vanguard Umeda LOFT

The pop-up store will also open on the 12th to 14th of October at JR Kawagoe Station in Saitama, at the Kawagoe Lumine Station Concourse Event Hall.

Kotobukiya stores in Akihabara in Tokyo and Nihonbashi in Osaka will see the “Spy x Family” x “Samurai Blue” pop-up stores open from the 15th of November until the 8th of December 2024.
