The Ikebukuro Halloween cosplay festival takes place across the Ikebukuro area, with stages and events held in Naka-Ikeburo Park, Ike Sunpark and the Ikebukuro Sunshine City shopping and entertainment complex. Over 20,000 cosplayers typically attend as well as a large number of photographers.
The event includes numerous stage performances, photoshoots, cosplay competitions, parades and evening activities spread across 3 days.

When will Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2024 take place?
The festival takes place from the 25th of October 2024 until the 27th of October 2024. The Ikehalo Night evening event takes place on the 25th while daytime events run across the 26th and 27th.

Advance tickets are required to take part as either a cosplayer or photographer. Online sales are available via eplus with tickets available to be collected from FamilyMart and 7-Eleven stores – this useful guide helps walk you through the process to purchase tickets via eplus.
No “on the day” tickets can be purchased at event.
General 1-Day tickets cost 2,700 yen for attendance on October 26th or 27th.
Premium 1-Day tickets cost 3,800 yen for attendance on October 26th or 27th.
Ikehalo Night tickets cost 3,300 yen for attendance to the evening event held on October 25th.
Premium 3-Day tickets allowing access to all events held across all three days cost 10,000 yen.
How do I get to Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2024?
Nearest station: Naka-Ikeburo Park and Ikebukuro Sunshine City are both easily accessible from the east exits of Ikebukuro Station (JY13, JA12, JS21, TK01,SI01, M25,Y09,F09).
Ikebukuro Station is a major railway station served by the Yamanote, Saikyo, Shonan-Shinjuku, Tobu Tojo and Seibu railway lines as well as the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi, Yurakucho and Fukutoshin subway lines.
