What to expect at Kameido Tenjin Chrysanthemum Festival 2024

The chrysanthemum is one of Japan’s national flowers and is celebrated annually at Kameido Tenjin Shrine with a dedicated chrysanthemum festival.

The festival will see various floral displays and varieties of chrysanthemum on show.

The 17th annual Chrysanthemum Festival Concert will take place during the festival with music to be played by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.

When will Kameido Tenjin Chrysanthemum Festival 2024 take place?

Kameido Tenjin Chrysanthemum Festival 2024 will run from the 20th October 2024 until the 23rd November 2024.

The 17th Chrysanthemum Festival Concert will take place on the 27th October 2024.

The main hall of the shrine is open 06:00 – 17:00. The shrine grounds are open 24 hours a day.
