What to expect at Gaigosai (Foreign Language) Festival 2024

This school festival is held at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and encompasses everything that other languages and cultures have to offer.

2024 celebrates the 102nd Gaigosai Festival which attracts approximately 31,000 visitors each year.

The aim of the festival is to create the feeling of traveling around the world and experiencing foreign cultures.

More than 50 restaurants and food stalls will be ran by the students, serving food and beverages local to the regions they are studying.

There will also be music performances, plays performed in different languages and regional dances will be performed by clubs.

During the festival guidebooks and limited goods will be available to purchase at the merchandise store next to Tama Information Centre and Galleria Information Centre.

Gaigosai (Foreign Language) Festival takes place from the 20th November 2024 until the 24th November 2024.

Restaurants and food stalls will be open 11:00~17:30 each day, (11:00~17:00 on the 24th November).
