What to expect at Tokyo Syukakusai 2024

Tokyo Syukakusai showcases the best local culture and cuisine from around the Tokyo area, offering tourists a variety of experiences all in one place.

Attending the event will be 17 different tourism associations providing visitors with information about Tokyo, Tama and the Tokyo Islands.

Many booths will have limited goods available to purchase including local produce and specialities.

The two main events at Tokyo Syukakusai are set to be the foot baths and refreshments.

Food and Drink

You’ll be spoilt for choice with the range of delicacies available from the gourmet food trucks, featuring local dishes and ingredients from the wider Tokyo area.

There will be a fully stocked bar with alcoholic drinks available from around the region, including sake, beer and shochu.

The soup bar will also be open selling a variety of soft drinks, hot drinks and soups made with local ingredients.

Foot Baths

Why not take a quick break from all the food and culture with a relaxing foot bath experience?

The foot baths available will highlight some of the areas best Onsen resorts including Kamata Onsen, Tsurutsuru Onsen and Jinata Onsen.

Completing a questionnaire will give attendees the opportunity to receive complimentary pack of bath salts while stocks last.

Other things for visitors to see and do will be workshops showcasing crafts from around Tokyo, a stamp rally where you can collect stamps to exchange for prizes or delicious onigiri and even a VR experience letting you travel around the region.

A special goods store will also be set up where you can purchase highly recommended local produce such as honey and sausages.

When will Tokyo Syukakusai 2024 take place?

Tokyo Syukakusai takes place on the 16th November 2024 from 10:00 until 18:00* and the 17th November 2024 from 10:00 until 17:00.

*Tourism Association and Disaster Relief booths open until 17:00.

Tokyo Syukakusai is free to attend.

How do I get to Tokyo Syukakusai 2024?

Nearest Station: Tokyo Syukakusai is best reached from Yurakucho Station using the Yurakucho Line, Yamanote Line or the Keihin-Tōhoku Line.

You can also access the event from Ginza-itchōme Station using the Yurakucho Line.

Alternatively, Tokyo Syukakusai can be reached from Nijūbashimae Station using the Chiyoda Line.
