Bloodborne’s First Hunter, Gehrman, comes to life in new high-end statue
Bloodborne fans can add Gehrman, the First Hunter, to their collection with a new 1/6 scale statue from Prime 1 Studio.
Pre-orders are now being accepted for the latest addition to the Prime 1 Studio “Ultimate Premium Masterline” series: the “Bloodborne Gehrman Bonus Edition” statue.
This highly detailed 1/6 scale statue immortalizes Gehrman, the First Hunter, a pivotal character from the critically acclaimed action role-playing game “Bloodborne”.
“Bloodborne” was developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and FromSoftware and released in 2015.
Gehrman is a central figure in the lore of “Bloodborne,” a hauntingly beautiful and challenging game set in the gothic, Victorian-era city of Yharnam, plagued by a blood-borne disease that transforms its inhabitants into monstrous beasts.
As the first hunter, Gehrman guides the player character, known as the Hunter, through the nightmarish events of the game, shrouded in mystery and wielding immense skill with his unique weapons.
The “Ultimate Premium Masterline Bloodborne Gehrman Bonus Edition” statue captures the aged and formidable presence of the First Hunter in remarkable detail.
The deep wrinkles etched beneath his iconic hunting hat and his stark, dark gray hair are meticulously sculpted, conveying his long and arduous history.
The hunting costume, a signature element of the game’s aesthetic, is rendered with subtle fading to suggest wear and tear, along with a carefully crafted fluffy texture and the distinct feel of the fabric.
In his right hand, Gehrman is depicted holding the scythe form of the Burial Blade, a unique weapon that can transform between a curved sword and a scythe.
His left hand grips the Hunter Blunderbuss, a type of shotgun favored by the hunters of Yharnam.
Both weapons are finished with weathering effects that reflect their age and use, lending a realistic and weighty feel to the statue.
The statue’s special base is intricately designed to resemble the secluded garden within the Hunter’s Dream, a key location in the game.
Cracked grave markers and clusters of white flowers growing around corroded iron fences create a hauntingly serene atmosphere, directly evoking the game’s distinctive visual style and narrative themes.
The “Bonus Edition” of this statue includes an additional rendition of the Burial Blade in the curved sword form. This exclusive accessory allows collectors to further customize their display.
The “Ultimate Premium Masterline Bloodborne Gehrman Bonus Edition” statue is priced at 207,790 yen (approx. $1,429 USD / £1,074 GBP).
Pre-orders started at 3:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on Friday, May 9th, 2025 and statues are expected to start shipping to customers between August and November 2026.
Fans of “Bloodborne” and collectors of premium gaming statues can place their pre-orders for the 1/6 statue of the First Hunter via the Prime 1 Studio website.
